Is running on an EC2 instance required for StorageLoader?

Hi all,

I have configured snowplow in ubuntu but while running storage loader(postgreSQL) in my local machine(ubuntu) it is connecting to 169.254.169.254 ip.
Is the mandatory to have AWS sever?

Hi @sandesh - it shouldn’t be required, no. If you delete the Snowplow tracking section from the config.yml, it should stop trying to access 169.254.169.254.
