We’re pleased to announce the release of the Snowplow Objective-C Tracker version 0.9.0. Here are the release notes:
This release centers around a couple new features: application contexts and lifecycle events.

Application contexts add supplemental information to events, such as the application version number and build number.

Lifecycle events are sent when the application goes to background and foreground, so they are useful for tracking user sessions in terms of when the application is open.
