I read the article on getting data into bigquery http://snowplowanalytics.com/blog/2015/02/08/uploading-snowplow-events-to-google-bigquery/#next. At the bottom of the article real time streaming of data to big query is mentioned. Is this something that is still planned? If not what would be the best way to get my data into big query?
Hi Muanh - you are right: we had an intern about a year ago who did some interesting experimentation getting Snowplow enriched events into BigQuery.
The results were promising, but we are super-focused right now on making the load process into Redshift much more capable (in terms of automated table creation, column migration, schema inference etc). This is super challenging but should be very powerful when done.
Potentially we will revisit BigQuery support in the future.
