Turn off EMR monitoring

Hey,

I have recently looked at our CloudWatch monitoring and saw that we are monitoring a lot of data around EMR, this looks to be increasing our AWS bill at around 15$ a day which is quite a bit.
Is there a way to disable EMR CloudWatch monitoring, we do not really use it on a daily basis if ever?

did you find a way to disable the CloudWatch monitoring? Or does anybody else know if it is possible at all?
